HUGO BOSS celebrated the opening of their redesigned flagship store at New York’s Columbus Circle location. SenovvA’s projection team led by Technical Producer Walt De Jong was at work behind the scenes to help make the debut an unforgettable event.

The glass atrium of the Time Warner Center was transformed into a multi-screen cinematic experience to present a dazzling high definition display featuring the work of renowned visual artist Marco Brambilla. HUGO BOSS presented the artist in collaboration with New York’s Art Production Fund.

Mayor Michel Bloomberg introduced the video on opening night to a celebrity packed crowd in celebration of the new three level store.

Brambilla’s video “Anthropocene” took four months to produce and his crew used laser technology to scan the southwest corner of Central Park to create a colorful journey through the park.

The six day event was open to the public and started each evening at dusk with three 11’ x 23’ screens showing Brambilla’s impressionistic vision connecting the park and the energy of Manhattan. A total of 6 Barco Projectors were used to blend the images seamlessly.

“We partner with our clients to create transformative experiences that elicit an emotional response allowing brands to make deep connections to their customers,” said SenovvA’s Founder and CEO, K Lee Harvey, “I am pleased we were able to bring our team’s extensive projection experience to this event.”
