One of SenovvA Canada’s long-standing clients engaged us to take their national sales conference virtual for the first time.

CHALLENGE

Our challenge was to create an event that not only prepared and trained their staff on product strategies, but also to motivate, energize and engage the team to create a sense of normalcy.

SOLUTION

In any great meeting, content is king and having a creative foundation that pulls through the week to help deliver the strategy and messaging is paramount. In the virtual setting, we approach things a bit differently. We reverse engineered the meeting by developing the agenda that best fits the digital environment. From there, we layered on the creative to develop an event program that encapsulated the typical meetings, breakouts and training session in a foundation of digital transformation and a theme of “Owning Our Future”.

The difference to most digital transformation themes, is that we celebrated the human side of innovation. We incorporated a host from a studio, to create a live television style broadcast, who helped to kick-off the meeting and was used to bookend each day of the event. This allowed us to create a home base where the participants would gather every day and the content reinforced the messages and creative approach.

To energize, motivate, and engage, we filmed medical professionals, colleagues, and patients to have them tell their stories of how they have overcome the challenges of healthcare in the COVID era.

With any in-person event, there are great social activities and interactions. Whether it is a coffee break, a networking reception/hospitality suite, or group dinner, there is always time to meet, speak and be social with your colleagues. In the virtual world, this is not possible. To allow for this interaction, we created social events after the business portion of the day. The activities ranged from mixology, to chef-level dinners and fitness classes.

The event wrapped up with an all-company team building event that reinforced the messages from the opening session outlined by the leadership team and created that last moment of fun and engagement before sending the team on their way to own their future.
