In collaboration with the LAB at Rockwell Group, the Hilton Innovation Gallery is designed to be an immersive R&D space to showcase the company’s innovations in hospitality design. The Gallery allows Hilton to present its new hotel brands, products, and cutting-edge vision to key constituents, inspiring them to think differently about hospitality and the future of the service industry. Upon entering the space, visitors will make their way through six experiences.

Entry & LED Wall

An angled entry transitions from the hotel lobby and sets the stage for the conversation to come: maintaining a hospitality POV while welcoming visitors into a high-tech space. A large-scale LED wall commands the area, displaying welcome messages when appropriate while remaining hidden behind real-wood veneer when turned off.

Food & Beverage Concept Studio

Combining show moments and support services, the F&B area can be arranged as a chef-focused display kitchen, buffet station for larger events, or a micro-kitchen for self-serve meetings. Rolling tables nest into each other and align with the island to create large work surfaces or staged food displays.

Product Showcase

The most flexible area of the space, the product showcase provides a range of staging and display options for spotlighting new and noteworthy tools, objects, and companies. A fully-outfitted “command booth” at the rear of the space gives direct access to video editing and presentation control suites for the entire space.

Innovation Theater

The core of the space is made up of a sunken seating area, featuring three rows of banquets facing a double-width projection wall for presentations. Outlets and reconfigurable seating in the space create a welcoming environment for collaborative meetings and casual work.

Virtual Reality Experience Stage

Anchored by a 25-foot long projection screen that disappears into the ceiling, the Virtual Reality space allows visitors to walk through Hilton properties, both built and in-progress. Floor plans projected on the floor of the space give additional context to outside viewers. A stunning “infinity-mirror” tunnel links the VR space with Darkroom and presentation area on the lower level.

Darkroom

Envisioned as a lab of innovative materials and technologies, the Darkroom features themed vignettes of present-day materials while a wall of framed material samples showcases those that aren’t yet in-market. Visitors can ask Amazon’s Alexa digital assistant to hear the innovation story around any of the materials.
