Gina Farina

Facilities Manager

Gina knows that “the play is the thing” from 25 years in legit theatre. She started as an usher at The Music Center of Los Angeles County and went on to Stage Manage musicals on the road and on Broadway. As a touring Stage Manager in the US and Canada, she has lived and breathed the varied disciplines and challenges of live entertainment production in more than 100 North American theaters.

Tours include Peter Pan with Cathy Rigby (Tony Nominated), including the A&E Video Production (Emmy Award), Fiddler on the Roof with Theodore Bikel, Jesus Christ Superstar with Carl Anderson, Camelot with Michael York and Happy Days the Musical.

Production supervision, general management and technical direction are all disciplines that come natural to Gina. She comes from a long line of formidable tradespeople, and she is as comfortable in a fabrication shop or taking in the performing arts or fine arts from A to Zed. As an artisan and fabricator her projects range from delicate vintage hand props to heavy duty touring infrastructure and architectural installs.  Her work also included a production crew position for The Closing Ceremonies of the 2002 Salt Lake City Olympic Games.

The Disneyland Resort has also served as a professional home where she worked as General Foreman of Entertainment Art; providing coordination and administration of scenery, props and set dressing for events at the Anaheim resort, studio and Disney’s Aulani Resort in Ko Olina, Hawaii.

A member of The Enlightenment and a devotee of science and art, Gina is most thrilled to support the storytelling tradition of our culture to enhance the human experience.
