Producer

A Cal State University Northridge graduate, Tristan helped establish the first and only Central American Studies program in the nation. He also partnered in creating the Central American Research and Policy Institute (CARPI) at CSUN. Published twice in the Academic Journal of the Central American Studies Program, he held the position of Executive Director of SPACE (Student Productions and Campus Entertainment), which was a cabinet-level position in the Associated Student Government.

His professional career began as a freelance Lighting Designer, designing and programming for concerts, film, television, corporate, and special events. He went on to hold the LD position at Multimedia Presentation Group (MPG) and, within a year, rose to be one of the two top Project Managers in the company. In this position, Tristan traveled over 200 days a year managing events across the United States.

Tristan left MPG to work for Concept Design Productions as an Account Executive/Production Designer. He successfully spearheaded the company’s first turnkey production in its 30-year history, melding audio, video, lighting, scenic, breakouts, and stage management into one package. Now, Tristan brings these turnkey skills to SenovvA.

Los Angeles-based Production Company SenovvA, Inc. acquires Avatar Media Design LLC.

Thursday, February 11th, 2010

February 11, 2010 – Los Angeles, CA – SenovvA, the leading broadcast, theatrical and corporate events production company in Los Angeles, has acquired Avatar Media Design, a long standing strategic partner whose focus has been on production design, media content development, and production management.

According to Avatar founder P. Michael Anderson, “Our merger is a no brainer.  We had become more than strategic partners; we were operationally symbiotic.  It only made sense for us, and our clientele, that we become one unified operation.”  Anderson, and his talented team of media designers and show managers round out SenovvA’s industry-leading staff of technical experts and client-focused account executives.

Avatar’s addition to SenovvA completes a creative design team whose projects have run the gamut of corporate event design and management to specialty architectural projection and display media creation.  Joint projects have already yielded success in the automotive, broadcast, Broadway staging, and digital signage markets. SenovvA founder K Lee Harvey said, “We have been partnering with Avatar as our creative wing for some time, and this acquisition gives SenovvA the ability to offer our clients a host of creative design and media based services unparalleled in our industry.”
