Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards 2014

SenovvA’s broadcast group returned again this year to provide LED and projection for The 27th Annual Kids’ Choice Awards broadcast on Viacom’s Nickelodeon Network. This year’s impressive stage featured a large WinVision 9mm LED cyc that utilized over 340 tiles and five separate walls of Everbrighten 7mm Kids Choice Awards 2014LED framed by a glowing “tree forest.” 10 Barco FLM HD 20K projectors were used on 3 screens flown high above a bubbling river of slime with the other 2 screens flanked outside stage left and right. Executive Producer Dave Taylor and Joe Sebenius led the SenovvA team through the daunting task of keeping slime away from the display technology powering the colorful show.

SenovvA collaborated with Nickelodeon Network and Bob Bain Productions for the event that was broadcast live from the University of Southern California’s Galen Center in Los Angeles on Saturday, March 29, 2014. The Galen Center was transformed into a kids’ celebration with dual stages, a 360 degree mosh pit, a slime fountain delivering winner envelopes, and a slime river snaking throughout the venue.

Steve has been a part of the show for 10 years. “We’re breaking through the fourth wall and bringing the show out into the arena this year. ”What is being added to the show this year includes large screens, a new setup, and more floor space for kids to stand and be close up to the stage.”
