McDonald’s 365 Black Awards 2013

“The Planet’s Most Interesting Agency,” Walton Isaacson and Director Andrew Logan turned to SenovvA to deliver scenic design, lighting, audio, video and broadcast elements for McDonald’s 365 Black Awards telecast, taped for BET Network during the Essence Festival in New Orleans.

SenovvA’s Production Designer, Account Executive Peter Kyte worked with Walton Isaacson and show producers McMann Tate & Stephens (MTS) to craft a broadcast quality awards show that would stand out and engage McDonald’s consumers and support the McDonald’s executives vision for the special, while remaining within budget and meeting a tight production schedule. 365 Black Awards 2013SenovvA’s Christopher Tousey produced complete renderings of the set with various looks for lighting and video to bring the vision of the show to the team.

The show set was an homage to McDonald’s original “golden arch” design with a full stage wide truss arch loaded with vibrant lighting, supported by an eye popping upstage LED wall, flanked by 6 LED columns, and a custom designed LED staircase and awards podium.  Two additional projection screens were flown above the stage.
