SenovvA of Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York and Toronto, a design and management group specializing in the entertainment, special event, architectural-construction and media services industries, was tasked with the design and integration of this one of a kind multimedia project.
In celebration of the Toronto 2015 Pan Am & Parapan Am Games, SenovvA Canada was engaged by Silverpoint Media to provide technical direction for the Toronto House Digital Exhibit commissioned by Interactive Ontario and the City of Toronto. The highly immersive experience features a 320-degree projection installation on the first floor balcony wall of the rotunda at Toronto City Hall. Toronto Mayor John Tory said, “I invite Torontonians and visitors to visit Toronto House to learn more about our great city… The site will feature attractions for all to enjoy throughout the duration of the Toronto 2015 Pan Am Games.”
SenovvA joined the Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS team as a proud sponsor of the 25th Annual Broadway Bares: Top Bottoms of Burlesque, featuring 222 of New York’s sexiest and most talented dancers. The show entertained two standing-room-only performances at the Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC, on Sunday, June 21, 2015. The evening offered a bawdy Broadway Bares spin to the classic Broadway Musical, 42nd Street – the story of a bright-eyed ingénue looking to make it big on the “Great White Way”. Executive Producer Dave Taylor, Eric Leverton and Joe Sebenius led the SenovvA team providing onstage LED and projection for the 15th Annual BET Awards that aired LIVE Sunday, June 28, 2015 on BET from Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. The show was hosted by Anthony Anderson and Tracee Ellis Ross which featured 6 performances and 15 award categories. See the complete list of winners from this year’s show.
In addition to our work on the BET Awards 2014 (BET a subsidiary of Viacom Inc.), SenovvA has also provided technical production services for other Viacom brands including MTV on the MTV Movie Awards as well as Nickelodon’s Kids’ Choice Awards.

F5, an interactive creativity festival aimed to be “a meeting place for the brightest minds in the world,” took stage on April 17 -18, 2015 at the expansive Terminal 5 venue in the Hell’s Kitchen area of New York City.
The biennial festival explored the “intersection of design, art & technology,” by fostering a multidisciplinary creative community that showcased work across a variety of media. “Love” was the event theme and it was kicked-off by this Opening Sequence Video produced and directed by Block & Tackle.
Dave Taylor, Eric Leverton and Joe Sebenius led the SenovvA team providing over 750 LED tiles and a dozen projectors, to create the dynamic backdrop for Nickelodeon’s 28th Annual Kids’ Choice Awards, broadcast live from The Forum in Los Angeles Saturday, March 28, 2015. SenovvA partnered with GHS Productions for the event which was carried across Nickelodeon’s sister networks: TeenNick, Nicktoons, TV Land, Nickelodeon mobile apps and website.
The 87th Annual Academy Awards featured the return of SenovvA’s unparalleled team including Frank McMinn, Dave Taylor, Eric Leverton, Joe Sebenius, Jim Agnor, Bill Starnes, Luke Frey, and Scott Goegebuer. SenovvA Executive Producer Dave Taylor marked his 26th year on the show along with President Frank McMinn in his 22nd year.

SenovvA managed the worldwide launch of Samsung’s SUHD TV with a 111’ wide curved projection screen at CES Las Vegas. The 45 minute, no holds barred, press conference streamed live around the world on January 5, 2015. SenovvA was proud to support dick clark productions (dcp) for the two-hour live broadcast and concert special “Star-Spangled Spectacular: Bicentennial of Our National Anthem” at Pier Six Pavilion in Baltimore, Maryland. The Fortress of Solitude was a new musical at The Public Theater in downtown New York that opened to audiences October 21, 2014. SenovvA supported Jeff Sugg’s projection design that included Christie and Panasonic projectors. SenovvA’s Theatrical Technician, Andy Kulhay was on site with the show, which was extended for an extra two weeks due to popular demand.
The play is a moving story of two friends growing up in Brooklyn in the 70’s and is based on the award-winning novel of the same name by Jonathon Lethem. Music from Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson’s composer Michael Friedman is also featured in the show.
Time Warner Cable Studios turned again to the SenovvA team to extend and enhance their sports associated activations at this year’s U.S. Open. According to the NY Times, “Some 59,971 people filed into the U.S. Open on Monday, the latest in a string of some of the biggest crowds ever here.”
Dave Taylor and Eric Leverton managed the installation of 360 degrees of LED and projection systems, immersing the audience in a musical spectacular. The show featured inspiring performances by Robin Thicke and Usher, each with a unique display technology.
Production Designer, Brian Stonestreet and Art Director, Kristen Merlino, created an impactful environment that supported performances, acceptance speeches, and Chris Rock’s high-energy monologues. Dave Taylor worked with Screens Producers, Allan Wells and Drew Findley, to insure that each projector, LED wall, blade, and curtain were utilized to their maximum capacity.
SenovvA proudly joined the likes of United Airlines, the New York Times and MAC Cosmetics, in supporting the work of Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. This year’s 24th Annual Broadway Bares event, marks SenovvA’s first NY based sponsorship. SenovvA provided 18mm PixelFLEX FLEXCurtain screens which flanked the stage, displaying content developed by Broadway’s top designers. We also utilized 37mm FLEXCurtain to support the VIP lounge.
ABC’s May 18th live telecast of the 2014 Billboard Music Awards from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, kept the audience on its feet with a steady stream of high-energy entertainment. SenovvA supported Dick Clark Productions by providing the latest LED and projection technology, with 16 live performances during the show and 39 winners announced on a dual stage, featuring floor to ceiling LED, all managed by SenovvA.
Dave Taylor and Joe Sebenius led the SenovvA team for the complex installation of LED elements for the stage set, designed by Brian Stonestreet who worked with Art Director, Kristen Merlino on this years production design.
SenovvA Canada managed technical production for the Munk Debates on Friday, May 2, 2014 in Toronto. The sold out event was streamed live from Roy Thomson Hall and featured a lively debate on the subject of State Surveillance. General Manager Dave Crainford coordinated video, projection, audio and graphics for the in house audience of 2,700 and the live stream, which included a video clip from Edward Snowden. The moderated forum included former Deputy Director of the National Security Agency General Michael Hayden, Professor Alan Dershowitz, Journalist Glenn Greenwald and Reddit cofounder Alexis Ohanian. Audience members and live stream viewers were able to cast their votes pro or con before and after the forum with the winning side announced at 9:00 pm EST.
