Production Design and Management

Many productions start out as a simple sketch on a piece of paper, others are simply a three-sentence concept. All start out as an idea that needs to go from the ethereal to the real. Paul is the guy who makes that happen, with spectacular results.

Paul was the founding partner of Avatar Media Design and still uses the simple tagline of “evolving context into content” for event design and management. Paul is a 22+ year veteran Technical Director and Content Producer of corporate, social, and entertainment events. He has provided production design and management services to such corporations as General Motors, Mercedes Benz, Qualcomm, Sun Microsystems, as well as hundreds of corporate, social, and special events in such faraway places as China, Australia and the Middle East.

Paul is a graduate of UC San Diego with a degree in Human Information Processing and Mass Media effects, with a minor in Theater production design. His experience runs the gamut from designing social and multinational events, to being a stage and studio musician. He is as happy calling a large international stage show as he is sitting behind a CAD station in the design studio. Paul is also a nationally published graphic artist and is in demand as a production industry technical trainer and technology consultant.
