This year’s broadcast required 45 Christie Projectors to cover 220 horizontal feet of serpentine screens, along with 900 Barco LED Panels and one of the largest Encore Systems ever assembled for broadcast. Unfortunately, Cancer touches us all in some way. SenovvA has contributed its efforts to the Stand Up To Cancer Organization since 2008, and will continue to support them as long as the fight goes on.

When the television networks think TCA Press Tour these days, they think of SenovvA. Dave Taylor has been instrumental to this event for well over twenty years and his involvement dates back to 1981. SenovvA provides everything for this semi-annual, many day event from “soup to nuts,” including: production management, high definition video systems, projection and LED displays, one way and two way satellite and fiber remotes, full audio reinforcement including countless musical performances, full broadcast level lighting and design, staging and drapery, even the carpet! This event takes over a complete hotel and we wire the many meeting rooms into one integrated video system. Our solutions have to be flexible enough to service the varying needs of over twenty-five presenting networks and no two tours are ever the same.
Ann Cowan, Sr. VP, Communications and Marketing for CTAM, put it simply, “You guys are amazing. Thanks for everything!”

SenovvA used the newly available WinVision LED display system at the Spike TV “Scream Awards,” broadcast on Tuesday, October 21, 2008.
WinVision is a “see through” LED screen, and provides an innovative solution for any stage, event or production. Frank McMinn chose WinVision because of its ease of set-up, lightweight design, and minimal thermal issues. SenovvA utilized WinVision panels for two on-stage display walls as well as in the “Skull Island” floor where the panels were mounted below a Lexan top.
SenovvA also installed a Stewart Filmscreen AeroView 100 screen on the main stage, 23’ x 40’6”. SenovvA had to create a path to get talent and set pieces on and off stage during the show. Dave Taylor designed a rig with box truss to surround the entire screen so it could cantilever back like a garage door.
Several set pieces were also visually animated through use of Barco i6XP LED panels. SenovvA installed 24 panels in the “Spike” to provide background visual effects from the stage floor up to the crosspiece of the spike.

Having supported Telepictures for several editions of Ellen’s comedy specials with LED and projection display, SenovvA was the go to company when executives decided to shoot an ambitious show concept whose set was heavily comprised of LED.
Made up of over 500 panels of Barco NX-4 4pm LED panels and spanning and impressive 78′ concave curve, the 6′ high wall would become the only surface that would not only convey important branding and show related info but would serve as a dynamic background for every camera shot.
In order to accomplish the required flexibility of a live show whose main element was so prominently featured, SenovvA’s production team chose a Vista Spyder System with custom graphics served from 2 Green Hipo HD’s and 2 of SenovvA’s own custom graphics workstations. This powerful combination allowed the team to place any element be it Power Point, live camera shot, playback of any kind as well as custom graphics anywhere across the 4800+ wide pixel space at a moments notice. Additionally SenovvA’s graphics team was able to make any changes to the custom graphics they had created at the instant they were requested by the producers.
All of these elements combined to create a visually stunning show which was fully supported technically, graphically and production wise by SenovvA’s seasoned production team. This team was able to seamlessly integrate into the shows overall production team to provide another flawless solution driven production.
